The financial benefits seem to vary from looking within to looking on the outside. I think globalization is benefiting developing countries and building their economy and multinational corporations by assisting with getting their products to consumers in a worldwide market. It’s definitely cheaper to outsource services and products to be manufactured in these developing countries we are increasing the employment in these countries but increasing the unemployment in our own country. I don’t see an overall equal form of financial benefits that can be shared in globalization. Free Trade is still an issue and has financial barriers that are not benefiting globalization.
If anything the global partnership is the part that is getting more benefits such as cultural intermingling we are learning more about each other, corporations and governments are trying to sort out ecological problems, I think socially we are becoming more open and tolerant with other cultures. Sharing technology is becoming easier and more accessible. At the same time we are still dealing with inhumane conditions, labor and wage issues, America is becoming deindustrialized, social injustice still occurs. With these consistent issues we do not have Leaders who are willing to address these mishaps.
