For this Discussion, you will conduct initial research for your persuasive proposal. In order to use anyone else’s ideas, words, or materials, you must cite them properly or it is considered plagiarism. At Kaplan University the American Psychological Association (APA) format and style is used for papers. There are two forms of citation. For citing anyone else’s ideas and content, you must use in-text citations. This means that in the sentence where their ideas appear whether paraphrased or quoted, you must provide their last name and the year of publication (if paraphrased and add the page number if quoting). Then you must also cite the reference at the end of the paper on the references page. So for every in-text citation, whether putting their ideas into your own words or quoting them (by putting quotation marks around their exact words), you must also provide the reference for the work (the book, paper, journal) in which these words are found.
Throughout your degree program, your professors will be submitting your papers to Turnitin.com™ to assure them that the paper is original so it is important that you cite someone else’s work and otherwise make your submissions original
1.) Locate two viable and post the APA formatted citation and accompanying reference for the source, a summary of the sources’ content, and your plans for integrating the source into your final proposal. Your summary and plans should be approximately 200 words for each source. One of your sources must be located using the ABI/INFORM Complete database. You may use ABI/INFORM for both of your sources, but you must use it for at least one. Both articles to utilize are ATTACHED!!! This should be a 400 word count and cited assignment. Please put references in alphabetical order.
